What we collect

When you request a quote, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, company, email, mobile number (optional), GSTIN (optional), buyer type, requirement details and any file you attach.

When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive the details you choose to share.

Your quote list is stored only in your own browser (local storage) until you send it. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotations, supply and support equipment, and keep the business and tax records required by law (for example GST invoices). We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Where it is processed

Form submissions are processed by our website host, Netlify, Inc., and delivered to our business email. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp. If you view the map on our contact page, it is provided by Google Maps under Google's terms. We share information with others only when needed to deliver your order (for example a courier) or when required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and transaction records for the period required by tax and accounting law.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw your consent to be contacted. Write to abhishek@umangtelecom.com (grievance contact: Abhishek). We will respond within a reasonable time.

Cisco, Juniper, HPE, Aruba, Extreme Networks, Poly, Polycom, D-Link, Logitech, Netgear and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used on this website only to identify the products we supply and support. Umang Telecom is an independent supplier and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.

Products, refurbished and end-of-life equipment

Specifications on this website are summaries for reference; the exact model, configuration, condition and licensing are confirmed in our quotation. Datasheet links open the manufacturer's own website. Refurbished and end-of-life equipment is tested by us and carries our own warranty of one month from dispatch (up to 90 days for regular customers), on the terms stated in our quotation; the manufacturer's warranty and support may not apply. Software is subject to the manufacturer's licensing terms.
